Ever wondered what would happen if your R4 card went through the wash with your favourite jeans?! Well personally i had never really wondered this or had a burning desire to test this out but, as it happens my R4 card did take an unexpected journey through the wash, in the pocket of my favourite levi jeans, doh!

I had been trying to find my trusty R4 card for a couple of days and it was really driving me nuts! You now what its like when you turn the house upside down looking for something and you cant find it, very frustrating! Suddenly it dawned on me…. I had taken my r4 card out of my DSi the other day and placed it safely in my jeans pocket, now where were those jeans? Ahh yes they were hanging on the line, after being lovingly washed by my zanussi washing machine!. After a quick search of the pockets, there it was, my R4 card looking slightly worse for wear. The sticker on the R4i card was knackered and came off, no great drama i thought as long as the card still works? After drying the the R4i card and micro SD for a good day i decided to see what damage the old Zanussi had done to my favourite R4. Well i was surprised to see that after a full spin cycle and wash the R4 card still worked, wooo hoo!

Now i wouldnt recommend doing this to your R4 card however its good to know that should you happen to, your R4 card will be ok
