You’ve probably seen the top 10 best Nintendo DS homebrew. All the developers have won between $25 and $200 each. There’s two more people I need to thank for taking part in the R4 Nintendo DS contest; the voters and the people that spread the word about the contest. So, thank you for taking the time to vote, or post a link on your websites!

I can’t give everyone a prize unfortunately so I’m going to randomly pick one voter and one referrer.

When I search Google for “R4 Nintendo DS” this site currently ranks 5th, so I’ll pick a comment on the 5th page of comments. Google finds results 1,060,000 for the search. If you add those digits up you get 7. So, as long as they’ve left a genuine email address and comment, the 7th comment on the 5th comment page is the winner.

Unfortunately that person didn’t really leave a vote, they just said “Homebrew is great lol. The UsrCheatUp is quite good.” I don’t know why they laughed after telling us that homebrew is great and it isn’t really vote, so I’m going to award the prize to the person that voted after them, Ikonz101 who voted for “1. GameUp 2. Codename Hacker 3. StillAliveDS”. Now I’ve got to send an email to them and convince them that they really have won $20 in a competition they probably didn’t even know they were in, and it’s not a scam (unlike when I keep winning several million Euros on some foreign lottery I’m unaware of entering).

For the referrer contest, I’m going to pick the 4th last referred comment (4th because it’s all to do with “R4″). And the winner is… comment #45 on page 5. Jesse M was refered by DSHacker14. So $25 goes to DSHacker14. The lesson here is, if you’re the only person that makes an effort to win a contest, you’ll get an easy prize.
