Emma the R$ SDHC card requires a special version of the system software which you can not get directly from R4 and very few people seem to supply. I had the same problem but after about 2 months searching I found one on a french site which claimed to be in french but when loaded on the Card is in English and has worked on my sons card perfectly for a year now. I’ve had an ‘original’ R4 card for some time now and it works fine. I wanted to get one for my sister so ordered what I thought was the same product from R4DS.co.uk. It wasn’t the same it was one of the SDHC versions which despite all my best efforts I couldn’t get to work.

To cut a long and v frustrating story short this company’s supposed support and customer service are awful, please don’t order anything from them. I’ve still not got a card that will work and am out of pocket because I can’t get the situation resolved and have now reached the point where I can’t be bothered to waste anymore time and effort on this – which is probably what a majority of their customers do.

So if you are going to get an R4 card for starters don’t use this company and avoid the SDHC versions which don’t seem to work properly!

@Daniel I would not be surprised if Daniel works for Memorybits as they get very poor ratings everywhere else - buyer beware, there are con men about!

Has anyone tried the acekard???
Acekard2i’s go for $16. I have 2 and they work perfectly.
You can buy them at http://www.ebest4u.com and all you have to do is plug an sd or an sdhc in your computer, load the tf firmware (www.acekard.com > download) and put games on the sd.
It’s heluv easy and you can put hundredz of games on it.
