Have bought an r4i card for my sons dsi. Every thing was fine for a week but now when you turn it on a red (sim card type) icon saying "menu?" comes up on the top screen. Anyone any ideas??

<a href="#comment-802" rel="nofollow">@Eve Hewlett </a>
You can buy an R4i for the DSi XL. I have one. And... you shouldn't do the system update! It won't read the um, you know, the card. :(

We had a DSI XL which worked perfectly with our R4i card. Then the DSI XL broke and we replaced it with a brand new one, but now this one won't work. I think maybe the system on this one is more updated than the last. Has anyone fixed this problem? The R4 card still works perfectly on our old DS Lite.

Please let us know if you've managed to get around the problem! Thanks!
