Try turning the clock on your DSi back a year. I know it doesn't sound like it would sort anything but I did it a few days ago and it fixed the same problem.

Recently I purchased a DSi XL. I bought four new R4i cards and downloaded the new system files.
All was well until yesterday I turned my console on and saw the sentence “system data error, please check NDS system date”

Can anyone tell me how to get around this please as I dont want to buy more R4 cards.
Regards Karen.
